I’ve got a treat for my foodies out there……. Taste of the Nation is going on this Sunday, June 10th from 1-4pm. Get to sample culinary & liquid creations from some of the top restaurants around LA. The best part…. 100% of the proceeds go to Los Angeles food banks to help stop child hunger.

Oatmeal can be a fantastic quick breakfast option, but it’s carb heavy. To counter this, incorporate your favorite protein powder. If you’re prone to buying the prepackaged stuff, it’s gonna be loaded with sugar, and doesn’t save you much more time to just make your own.

Time: Less than 10 minutes

1/2 Cup Whole Oats Oatmeal
Cinnamon
1/2 Scoop Chocolate Whey Protein Powder
Organic Banana
Organic Strawberries
Brown Sugar

1) Bring some water to a boil, then reduce heat to medium and toss in the oats for 5 minutes

2) Turn off the heat, cover, and let sit for another 2 minutes

3) Drain oats, and mix in cinnamon, protein powder, and a pinch of brown sugar. Top off with your favorite fruits.

This Saturday, May 19th, is Food Revolution Day, and there are supporters all around the world, sharing knowledge and hosting events. Schools and youth organizations are pledging to make a difference, and companies are doing the same! Take note folks, knowledge is power, and the world is changing for the better!
